Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery has formed a sales agreement with Australia-based BetaPak, which will represent Spee-Dee’s product line and provide ongoing service to companies within the Asia Pacific region.

Spee-Dee Sales/Marketing vice president Timm Johnson said the company has been experiencing increased awareness of its extensive dry fill packaging solutions in foreign markets.

"This new partnership will enable the company to continue to expand our presence globally," Johnson said.

BetaPak provides full turnkey project management solutions as well as process and packaging line design support and offers experience in market segments including the food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries.

US-based Spee-Dee manufactures equipment to measure and fill dry products into consumer size containers such as bags, bottles, pouches, cans and cartons.
