New York-based C&C Homecare, a provider of durable medical equipment and respiratory services, has purchased Allcare Medical for an undisclosed sum. 

Allcare Medical in New Jersey provides care to the patient at home through quality products and services as well as supplies home medical equipment and products to patients.

The combined company, from its five distribution centers and three retail locations, will provide services to patients of New York-metro, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Allcare Medical's president, Richard Lerner will remain with the new company and will mange the New Jersey division.

In addition, Joseph McGovern will assume the role of president of the New York division, while Stacey Granat will be the president of corporate development.
